A highly successful ‘Getting to Know You' network event was hosted by Reflective Learning-Uganda (RL-UG), 12th May 2010 at The Hotel Triangle, Kampala. The event comprised;
- A very warm Welcome Address from RL-UG's Director, Shiphrah Mutungi,
- A personal account of the power of reflective learning by Angela Bafokuzara, Deputy Director (Ethics Education), Directorate for Ethics and Integrity, Office of The President, Uganda.
- A presentation by RL-UG's Chairman, Tony Ghaye, about RL-UG's approach to improving lives and livelihoods through strength building, enhancing positivity and resilience.
- A lively discussion about future possibilities and positive action, in partnership with RL-UG, from 26 participants.

RL-Uganda seminar on strengths-building, well-being and positive pedagogy, at Makerere University, Kampala.
An RL-Uganda seminar was hosted by The Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts and chaired by Dr. Venny Nakazibwe, Deputy Dean, 14-05-10 at Makerere University, Kampala. The title of the seminar was, ‘Participatory and Appreciative Action and Reflection (PAAR) that enhances human flourishing'. It was presented by Shiphrah Mutungi and Tony Ghaye of RL-Uganda.
Staff from the School attended and engaged in a lively discussion about the nature of reflection for strengths-building and reflective practices that enhance positivity and well-being.
